I’ve written dozen of songs over the years, but have never officially sold any of them until now. There are a few that I posted years ago on the website Soundclick that can be downloaded for free. I wrote and recorded these myself back when I was a traveling consultant. At the time I recorded them for fun for both me and my friends at the consulting company that I worked at called Energy Consultants Incorporated or ECI.
The one song that I feel was the most apropos at the time was called “Another Traveling Day” which voiced my despair for the amount of time I had to spend away from my wife and kids, something I tried to stop doing by leaving the Navy; a place that constantly separated us as the Navy’s orders dictated. I plan to post some of my other songs, including ones I wrote while serving in the U.S. Navy, but they will be available for a small fee. One thing of note is that these recordings were made entirely by me, G.J. Reed. It is my vocals that you hear as well as me playing lead guitar, bass guitar, and electric piano. I also manipulated the drum input using an electronic device called a Korg Rhythm 55.
